Tishreen University signs a memorandum of understanding with Mir Marine Shipping Company for cooperation in the field of marine sciences

Tishreen University and Mare Marine Shipping Company signed today a memorandum of understanding to enhance scientific and research cooperation in the field of marine sciences.

The memorandum of understanding was signed by the President of Tishreen University, Dr. Bassam Hassan, and the Director of Mir Marine Shipping Company, Zulfiqar Al-Hashimi.

The university president stressed the importance of cooperation with the company, activating the agreements and translating them into continuous work and communication that serves the students and graduates of the university and the company, in a way that contributes to serving the national economy and overcoming the impact of sanctions and blockade.

In turn, the director of Mir Marine indicated that the company aims to open wider areas for reviving the maritime transport sector in Syria in cooperation with friendly countries and by relying on national expertise and competencies.

It is noteworthy that Mir Marine Shipping Company holds a license to practice the profession / Marine Classification Authority / from the Syrian Ministry of Transport.
