Objectives of the Medical Devices Technology Specialization:
The specialization aims to:
- Supply society and all types of business sectors with graduates possessing appropriate qualifications and skills according to the professional description for graduates of this department.
- The department works to provide the graduate with the necessary basic and specialized knowledge and skills in the field of specialization (Medical Devices Technology), in addition to the theoretical information required for the academic graduate, so that the graduate is able to maintain and operate medical devices and work in medical facilities.
- The department works to support and develop the student's skills in diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults in medical devices, repairing them, conducting appropriate measurements, and understanding and analyzing technical bulletins from manufacturing companies, and using information systems and expert systems to support decision-making in institutions.
