Lesson Plan for the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration Department:

The lesson plan is implemented through theoretical lectures and practical lessons, both in-class and laboratory-based, including workshops. Students are required to implement small projects where possible in various courses to reinforce practical skills, as well as through field visits to work sites in economic institutions with activities related to the specializations of this department.

The department, through the college, works to ensure constructive communication with economic entities representing the labor market served by the specializations offered, and works to develop its study plans in line with changing market needs.

In this context, and to link the college's activities and educational programs with the labor market, and to provide the necessary technical services to the labor market and benefit from its capabilities in providing distinguished training for college students, the following is done:

- Hosting lecturers with specialization and experience from the labor market to deliver applied lectures (or discussion sessions) in various courses, with the topics of these lectures determined and implemented under the supervision of the course instructor.

- Determining graduation project topics, where possible, in coordination with and benefiting from the needs and capabilities of the labor market. These projects are implemented in coordination between the college and the supporting institution. In this case, an expert from the labor market may participate in supervision.

Distribution of the Lesson Plan:

Arabic is the language of instruction. One course may be taught in English in each of the third and fourth years.

Courses are distributed over the eight semesters, and their weekly hours are determined according to the schedules specified in Article (13). The college council may swap two courses from one semester to another within the same year.

Grades and Assessment and Success Criteria:

- The passing grade for each course in this department is determined as sixty out of one hundred from the maximum mark. A student is not considered successful if the course consists of two parts unless they obtain at least 40% in each part.

- The college council determines, based on the department council's recommendation, the distribution of coursework grades for student activity during the semester.

- The college council determines, based on the department council's recommendation, the method for conducting the theoretical exam (automated, traditional), practical, or both practical and theoretical.

- The graduation project is studied over two semesters in the fourth year and is considered one course, presented and discussed, and the student's final grade is determined at the end of the second semester.

- Scientific committees are formed in the department in each exam session to conduct scientific examinations for courses that are fully or partially practical, as well as to discuss graduation projects. These committees may include members from the labor market.
