**Workshop at the Faculty of Economics at Lattakia University Discusses Economic Developments and Their Implications for Development**

A workshop titled "Economic Developments in Syria and Their Implications for Development" was held at the Faculty of Economics at Latakia University, addressing a number of issues related to the economic reality and opportunities for its development, through research presented by doctoral students.

The research covered topics such as foreign investment opportunities in Syria, the impact of economic developments on the development path, requirements for applying sustainability reports, as well as measuring the effects of changes in indicators of the financial structure of banks on economic development.

The Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Dr. Abdulhadi Al-Rifai, explained that the workshop aims to move from diagnosing the economic reality to presenting results, recommendations, solutions, and applicable programs under current circumstances, based on diverse research that contributes to reading economic challenges and offering new visions to address them.
