In reference to the approved Credit Mobility project between Lattakia University and Sapienza University in Italy, within the framework of the ERASMUS+ programme, one partial grant will be offered to faculty members for a duration of one week, for the second semester of the upcoming academic year 2026–2027.

Those wishing to apply for this grant should send an email with two separate PDF files attached to the following email address: inter.rel.tishreen@gmail.com

- The first file must include the following documents in English and in the same order: CV – a copy of a valid passport – a motivation letter – a list of scientific publications – an invitation letter from a professor at the aforementioned university confirming their agreement to host the applicant – a certificate proving proficiency in English or Italian at a minimum level of B2, obtained from the Higher Institute of Languages and issued within the last two years (exempting those who hold a PhD from universities in English-speaking countries, who may instead upload their PhD certificate as a substitute language document). The total file size must not exceed 2000 KB.

- The second file must include the following documents in Arabic and in the same order: a letter from the relevant faculty in Arabic confirming its approval of the applicant’s nomination, accompanied by the decision of both the department and the faculty only.

The deadline for submission is 6/10/2026. Any nomination received after this date or lacking the required documents will be considered void.

Please note that Sapienza University is solely responsible for selecting the grant recipients. The university will later contact the selected professor directly to upload the required documents (in English) through its own platform, in addition to the Learning Agreement, which must be completed and signed by the Directorate of International, Cultural, and Public Relations before being uploaded via the platform.
