The Faculty of Economics at Lattakia University, Department of Statistics and Programming, awarded a doctoral degree to researcher Najwa Salem with a grade of "Very Good" and a score of 80, following the defense of her thesis titled "An Analytical Study of Structural Changes in the Tourism Sector in Syria Using Econometric Models.

The thesis falls within the framework of economic studies that rely on statistical and econometric methods to analyze the changes occurring in the tourism sector.
