The final match of the Al-Tahrir Table Tennis Championship.
The final match of the Al-Tahrir Table Tennis Championship was held on Sunday, 28 June 2026, in the presence of Professor Dr. Munther Asaad, Vice President of the University; Mr. Yaqub Khalid, Head of the Teachers' Syndicate in Tartous Governorate; Dr. Youssef Al-Ali, Head of the Teachers' Syndicate at Tartous University; Mr. Abdul Raouf Turkmani, representative of the Head of the Teachers' Syndicate in Lattakia Governorate; Professor Dr. Mohsen Ahmed, Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering; and Professor Dr. Ahmad Khadro, Director General of the University City Authority.
The championship was organized by the sub-office of the Teachers' Syndicate at the university, in collaboration with the Faculty of Physical Education at the university. It was attended by all participants in the tournament, most of whom were faculty members and deans of several faculties. The event was graciously sponsored by Dar Al-Qamar Foundation, represented by Dr. Salam Mohammed, and the Syrian National Care Foundation, represented by its Lattakia branch director, Ms. Reem Saidi. The match was also attended by colleagues from the sub-offices of the aforementioned branches.
The match, which was remarkable for its excellence and sportsmanship, was opened by Professor Dr. Munther Asaad, Vice President of the University; Dr. Abdul Karim Hassan, Head of the Teachers' Syndicate at the university; and Professor Dr. Siraj Diop, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education at the university. It concluded with the crowning of the winners.
