Meeting of the Dean of the Higher Institute for Environmental Research with new postgraduate students.
The administration of the Higher Institute for Environmental Research – Lattakia University – Syria, chaired by the Dean of the Institute, Prof. Dr. Mousa Al-Samara, and in the presence of the Vice Dean, Dr. Tarek Araj, the Head of the Department of Environmental Chemistry, Dr. Rimaz Nasser, the Head of the Department of Environmental Prevention, Dr. Wafa Rajab, the Head of the Department of Environmental Systems Engineering, Dr. Qaynan Ibrahim, the postgraduate student representative, Mr. Ali Zouheiri, and the staff responsible for following up on postgraduate student affairs at the Institute, Eng. Ali Ghanem and Ms. Rima Ibrahim, met with the new students accepted in the Master's admission competition for the academic year 2025/2026, as well as the failing and expired students returning under Decree No. 98 of 2025. The meeting was held in the seminar hall on Sunday, 10/05/2026 at 12:00 PM.
During the meeting, the students were introduced to the Institute and its departments, the duties and rights of students throughout the postgraduate period, the importance of adhering to attendance, following up on academic and research studies from the very beginning, and attending seminars, conferences, and scientific activities organized by the Institute. The meeting was successful and fruitful.
