Within the activity plan of the Faculty of Education at Latakia University for the year 2026, the Department of Educational Fundamentals organized a two-day training workshop on April 22 and 23 titled "The Role of the Montessori Curriculum in Developing Children's Skills," delivered by Dr. Waad Mohammad. The workshop targeted kindergarten students at the Faculty of Education to enhance their skills and introduce them to one of the most effective international programs for dealing with preschool-aged children. A number of faculty members from the Faculty of Education also participated in the workshop.
