**Latakia University and the Syrian Postal Establishment have signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at activating postal services within the university.**

**The agreement was signed by the President of Latakia University, Dr. Iyad Fahsa, and the Director General of the Syrian Postal Establishment, Mr. Imad Eddin Hamad.**

**The President of Latakia University indicated that the signing of the memorandum of understanding comes within the framework of the university's keenness to provide comfort to its students by simplifying procedures for them and alleviating the hardship of traveling to external postal centers.**

**For his part, the Director General of the Syrian Postal Establishment affirmed that the memorandum embodies the institution's role in expanding its scope of services within educational institutions and ensuring the provision of postal services befitting the students of Latakia University.**

**The signing of the agreement was attended by the university's Vice Presidents for Scientific Research Affairs and Administrative Affairs, the Secretary of the University, members of the Executive Office of Latakia Governorate, the Directors of Post and Telecommunications of Latakia, and the Director of Relations at the university.**
