In the presence of the President of the University of Latakia, the Directors of Social Affairs and Education, and a representative of the Governor of Latakia, the Faculty of Education organized a series of awareness activities on the occasion of World Autism Awareness Day.

The activities began on the evening of April 1st with the lighting of the university administration building in blue, as part of a symbolic ceremony that included individuals with autism and relevant civil society organizations.

The activities continued on April 2nd with a sports march within the university titled "Our Steps Are an Echo of Their World," in collaboration with the Faculty of Physical Education.

The activities also included the opening of an art exhibition at the Cinema Club, with the participation of a number of civil society organizations concerned with people with special needs.

The events concluded with a central ceremony featuring an interactive program highlighting the achievements of individuals with autism and special needs, and supporting their integration into the university and local community.
