**Lattakia University and Al-Manara University Sign a Memorandum of Understanding to Enhance Academic and Research Cooperation**
Today, Lattakia University and Al-Manara University signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance academic and research cooperation.
The agreement was signed by Dr. Iyad Fahsa, President of Lattakia University, and Dr. Muhammad Al-Sheikh, President of Al-Manara University, with the aim of developing cooperation between the two universities in the fields of scientific research, academic education, and the exchange of expertise between professors and students.
The memorandum focuses on implementing joint research projects between the two universities, exchanging research publications, prints, and journals, and facilitating visit exchanges for faculty members and students to activate academic and cultural cooperation.
The agreement stipulated the development of an executive program to define the mechanisms of cooperation between the two parties.
Dr. Fahsa explained that the memorandum contributes to enhancing the standing of both universities locally and internationally by encouraging scientific and research exchange. Meanwhile, Dr. Al-Sheikh emphasized the importance of joint academic cooperation in developing scientific and academic performance.
The signing was attended by the university vice presidents: Dr. Muhammad Haroun (Vice President for Scientific Affairs and Scientific Research), Dr. Munzer Asaad (Vice President for Administrative Affairs and Student Affairs), Dr. Muhammad Akroush (Vice President for Open Learning), Mr. Mustafa Fawal (University Secretary), Ms. Juliet Nassar (Director of International Relations at the university), and Ms. Hala Raslan (Director of Public Relations and International Cooperation at Al-Manara University).
