The first meeting of the Council of Directors of Quality Assurance Units in Faculties and Higher Institutes for the year 2026 was held today, Wednesday, 25/2/2026, chaired by Prof. Dr. "Mohammad Haroun," Vice President of the University for Scientific Affairs, and attended by Dr. "Aqeel Hajouz," Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center, the heads of departments at the center, the Director of the University Ranking Office, and the Directors of Quality Assurance and Accreditation Units in the Faculties and Higher Institutes.

The meeting focused on enhancing the quality of education and supporting students throughout their academic journey through the Academic Advisory Guide, which will be circulated electronically to faculties and higher institutes through quality assurance units to avoid any issues. Additionally, the course description form and course report form were reviewed and approved during the meeting, pending presentation to the University Council for final approval and circulation to faculties and higher institutes. Emphasis was placed on the importance of developing administrative scientific offices in faculties and higher institutes to enhance academic and administrative performance and provide a developed and distinguished educational environment. The meeting also discussed the follow-up and implementation of development plans for faculties and higher institutes and the work mechanism for the upcoming phase.
